Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Two or more years of experience in a retail environment with sales and cash handling.
• Strong knowledge of financial products, banking regulations, and NMLS SAFE Act registration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong customer service and relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Achieve operational and revenue benchmarks as provided by Retail Operations and Retail Sales managers.
• Explain, promote, sell, and cross-sell products based on customer needs and meet defined goals.
• Retain/acquire Retail and Commercial relationships through active calling of customers and prospects; refer to partners for mortgages and loans.
• Serve as a primary contact for customers; perform routine account transactions and assist with service inquiries.
• Ensure branch compliance with regulations and bank policies; assist with opening/closing and balancing cash vaults/ATMs.
• Participate in community activities and represent Dime Bank professionally.
