Job summary

MountainOne Bank is seeking a Universal Banker Representative in Pittsfield to deliver superior customer care and support banking transactions. You will assist customers with deposits, payments, account openings and product information, while following policies for accuracy and security.

The role requires good math skills, cash handling, and the ability to cross-sell financial solutions. Training is provided; travel to nearby branches may be needed to cover staff.

Qualifications

• Math literacy and fundamental financial calculations.
• Fundamental teller transactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Sales process; cross-selling and making sales referrals.
• Product knowledge, e.g. deposit accounts, loan products, features/benefits.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver the MountainOne Standard of Customer Care regarding daily transactions, addressing inquiries, and resolving problems.
• Perform basic teller transactions including deposits, loan payments, cashing checks, and issuing money orders.
• Maintain ATM/Debit card maintenance and card orders.
• Develop and deepen customer rapport; stay responsive with correspondence and problem resolution.
• Open and service new and existing accounts; ensure customer profiles are updated.
