Summary: As the front-line client ambassador, the Universal Banker provides a remarkable experience for clients, understanding transaction requirements, educating clients, and recommending bank products and services. Responsibilities include assisting with account openings, managing accounts, and processing transactions accurately and efficiently.

The role involves participating in branch operations, supporting sales initiatives, and maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality service and perform client-requested services professionally.
2. Establish rapport, identify needs, recommend solutions, and seek business opportunities.
3. Promote and advise on bank products, services, and digital channels.
4. Perform teller transactions, verify cash, and handle deposits and payments.
5. Ensure cash drawer balance and report discrepancies.
6. Comply with regulations and report suspicious activity.
7. Maintain confidentiality of client information.
8. Resolve client problems efficiently.
9. Assist with currency shipments, deposits, and ATM balancing.
10. Support onboarding and follow-up calls for sales opportunities.
11. Achieve individual and branch goals, report progress.
12. Stay updated on products and services.
13. Represent Centier professionally in community and external initiatives.
14. Engage in personal development and training.
15. Refer clients to specialists as needed.
16. Participate in promotional activities and maintain professional appearance.
17. Adhere to company policies and values.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
• Mentor colleagues and be flexible with work hours, including evenings and weekends.

Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency with PC software including MS Office, Outlook, SharePoint, and banking systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle currency verification and data entry.
• Teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to assess client needs and recommend solutions.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Experience interacting with various banking and sales professionals.
• Experience in onboarding and account management is preferred.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Banking experience is a plus but not required.
• Customer service and cash handling experience desirable.
