Job summary

Central Bank in O’Fallon, IL seeks a Universal Banker to deliver an exceptional customer experience by supporting teller transactions and personal banking services. • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and negotiable instruments while minimizing operational error.
• Open and maintain consumer accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive onboarding experience.
• Engage customers in meaningful conversations to identify financial needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Actively participate in referral programs, meeting established goals and contributing to overall branch sales performance.
• Maintain and balance cash drawer, adhering to established limits and procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service in person and by phone, resolving issues with professionalism and care.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all bank products, services, and applicable regulations to effectively support customers.
• Prevent fraud by following established procedures, identifying suspicious activity, and adhering to all security protocols.
• Comply with all applicable banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements and information security standards.
