The Universal Banker delivers a full-service banking experience by combining transactional support with relationship-building activities. This role is responsible for meeting customer needs through product knowledge, service execution, and proactively identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and grow deposits. Responsibilities:

• Provide teller services while also opening and maintaining accounts.
• Respond to customer inquiries and service requests promptly and accurately, taking ownership through resolution and escalating complex issues when appropriate.
• Engage customers in meaningful conversations to identify financial needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions.
• Provides support with digital banking tools to enhance customer convenience and engagement.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent, high-quality service.
• Refer customers to specialized partners (lending, treasury, trust, mortgage) as appropriate.
• Ensure accuracy of transactions and account setups while adhering to compliance standards.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of all bank products, services, and systems, and actively pursue ongoing professional development.
• Actively participate in daily huddles, team meetings, and discussions to support banking center performance and culture.
• Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and strong communication skills in all interactions with customers and team members.
• Ensure compliance with all operational procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work during banking hours, which are 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM (noon).
• Strong listening skills, excellent customer service skills, comfortable asking questions and identifying needs to expand customer relationship.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-task, high-volume environment.
• Attentive to details and able to identify high-risk situations.
• Positive and helpful attitude towards customers (internal and external).
• Ability to understand how to present features and benefits of products and services to customers with differing needs.
• Projects a professional image in dress, manor and communication.
