The Administrative Coordinator assists the faculty and staff with administrative tasks and ensures Ryan White Program data is current and accurately reported to SC DPH for the Division of Infectious Disease.

Job Description

Job Duties:

  • 35% - Assists in maintaining Provide Enterprises (PE) data. Ensures data is correctly extracted from the Electronic Medical Record (Epic) into PE. Runs and submits all required reports South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH).

  • 35% - General office duties including, but not limited to:

    • Answering division phone

    • Entering Aids Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) applications

    • Assisting with Epic in basket

    • Scheduling patients

  • 15% - Assists Insurance/Medication Coordinators during insurance open enrollment, ensuring required paperwork is completed. Assists in collecting and updating paperwork throughout the year.

  • 15% - Represents the MUSC Ryan White program on state committees, including the HIV Planning Council and HIV, Hep C, and STI Conference Committee.

  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures relevant to the area of employment.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and four years relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services; or a bachelor's degree and two years experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.
