Job summary

Ideum, Inc. in Corrales, NM, is hiring a Developer I to translate project requirements into functional code using Unity and related tech stacks for museums and corporate clients.

You will test code on target hardware, participate in meetings with producers and designers, and collaborate with senior developers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality software. After the first year, growth toward Developer II; benefits include health, dental, vision, life, disability, PTO, and a 401(k) plan;

Qualifications

• Demonstrated coding skills with Unity or C#/.NET
• Ability to translate requirements into technical tasks
• Authors functional, testable code
• Participates in code reviews and receives feedback
• Team-oriented, eager to learn new technologies
• Willing to work in-person with the team
• Able to test and reproduce issues
• Plans career progression toward Developer II

Responsibilities

• Work with producers and designers to build code in Unity and other tech stacks for museums and corporate clients.
• Test code on target hardware or equivalents.
• Participate in internal and client meetings.
• Maintain open communication and project updates.
• Manage time to meet project deadlines and inform about issues.
• Iterate to reach input of senior developers for Alpha/Beta reviews.
• Seek feedback on work products.
• After year one, develop skills toward Developer II level competencies.
