Job summary

Kimmel & Associates, a leader in façade engineering in the United States, is looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to join its Preconstruction and Estimating team. In this role, you will develop accurate project cost estimates, collaborate with various stakeholders, and contribute to complex architectural projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of estimating, sales, or preconstruction experience in construction.
• Strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings.
• Experience preparing quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid proposals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed material takeoffs and quantity surveys.
• Review architectural drawings and specifications.
• Analyze project schedules and develop cost estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare bid proposals and maintain meeting documentation.
