Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of estimating or preconstruction experience in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings.
• Experience preparing quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise detailed material takeoffs and quantity surveys.
• Review architectural drawings and specifications for project scope.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates including material and labor.

Skills

Strong technical estimating skills

Experience with commercial glazing and curtain wall systems

Ability to manage multiple bid opportunities

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Familiarity with estimating software like PartnerPak

Knowledge of Kawneer products

Education

College degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field
