The State Highway Administration's (SHA) Office of Real Estate (Baltimore City) is currently recruiting for a Unit Training Coordinator (Administrative Officer III)position. This position is open to anyone who meets the minimumandselective qualificationslisted below. All eligible candidates must meet the minimum and selective qualifications by the closing date. Nature of Work:This position serves as the Office of Real Estate’s (ORE) Unit Training Coordinator (UTC) and is the Program Manager for the ORE Training Initiative. As such, the overall duties and responsibilities are to plan, coordinate and oversee all training activities for ORE in headquarters and the seven (7) district offices. This includes formulating, monitoring, and tracking the annual training budget for ORE; managing and implementing all aspects of the Learning Management System Program; managing, monitoring, implementing, designing, delivering, coaching, mentoring, and managing all aspects of the Professional Development Program; and reviewing, editing, and approving all external training request requisitions in addition to procuring all out of state training and travel.
In addition, this position serves as the Performance Excellence Specialist for ORE, which acts as a liaison to all ORE employees with regards to performance excellence, continuous quality improvement, business planning, partnering, and all quality improvement initiatives. This position also serves as a liaison to the Director, ORE and Deputy Administrator for all the above.
