Qualifications

• Demonstrates written, interpersonal, or communication skills as appropriate to position
• Working knowledge of direct patient care
• Basic knowledge of Unit Secretary functions
• Successful completion of one of the following: Nursing Assistant Program; Medical Assistant Program; Equivalent work history in a patient care environment; Rotation with total patient care at Nursing School; EMT Training
• Licensure/Registration/Certification: BLS - American Heart Association

Responsabilités

• Performs as a Unit Secretary at least 50% of the time and functions as a Nursing Assistant as assigned
• Performs clerical and reception duties to maintain efficient operation of the department
• Assists in the continuity of patient care delivery within an assigned area by providing direct personal care, rehabilitative measures, and supportive services
