Job summary

Grand Haven Hospital, part of Trinity Health, is hiring a Unit Tech/Clerk for the Day Shift. You will provide hands-on patient support, measure and record vital signs, collect specimens, and assist with procedures.

This role balances compassionate care with efficient workflow in a dynamic hospital unit. Requirements include a high school diploma, current BLS, and one of CENA in Michigan or anatomy course or enrolled in nursing program or EMT/MA/LPN.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.
• One of the following: CENA in Michigan; completed Anatomy & Physiology course; enrolled in an accredited nursing program with fundamentals completed; EMT, Medical Assistant, or LPN certification; equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands on support to patients in a dynamic care environment.
• Accurately measure and record vital signs and intake.
• Collect and handle specimens (urine, sputum, stool).
• Assist with specialty procedures like wound care, EKGs, and splinting.
