Job summary

Grand Haven Hospital, part of Trinity Health, is hiring a Part-Time Unit Tech/Clerk for Day shifts. The role supports patient care, measures vital signs, and handles specimens, with opportunities for growth within a large health system.

Required: High School Diploma, current BLS, and one of several qualifications (CENA in Michigan, Anatomy & Physiology course, nursing program progress, EMT/MA/LPN). Trinity Health values compassion and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• One of: CENA (Michigan), Anatomy & Physiology course completed, enrolled in nursing program with fundamentals completed, EMT/MA/LPN certification, or equivalent experience.
• Equivalent experience or training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to patients in a dynamic care environment.
• Accurately measure and record vital signs and intake.
• Collect and handle specimens (urine, sputum, stool).
• Assist with wound care, EKGs, and splinting.

  • Certified Nurse Aide (CENA) in Michigan
  • Completed college-level Anatomy & Physiology course
  • Enrolled in an accredited nursing program with fundamentals completed (proof required annually)
  • EMT, Medical Assistant, or LPN certification
  • Equivalent experience or training
