Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island is seeking a Unit Support Associate to maintain a safe environment and assist with unit operations. You will transport patients and materials, perform cleaning tasks, and ensure supplies are stocked to support efficient patient care.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and strong communication and customer service skills. Preferred candidates have 1–2 years in a hospital setting and basic Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, supplies, laboratory specimens, blood, and other items as directed.

• Maintains patient safety and responds to patient, family, and visitor needs in a timely fashion.
• Maintains inventory of unit supplies and stocks/distributes supplies, instruments, and linens.
