This position has a core schedule of:

  • Week 1: Tuesday-Friday
  • Week 2: Monday-Thursday and Saturday
  • Week 3: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday-Friday
  • Week 4: Tuesday-Friday
  • Week 5: Monday-Wednesday and Saturday
  • Week 6: Sunday, Monday and Wednesday-Friday

About the unit

1G is a 22 bed Progressive Non-ICU unit at Blodgett hospital that specializes in the care of a variety of medically complex patients, including those with cardiac arrythmias and who require bipap. People are drawn to 1G for its teamwork, dedication to excellence, and the opportunity to learn and challenge themselves in a fast-paced environment.

Scope of work

Performs receptionist/secretarial duties and maintains confidential records, supplies and equipment per hospital and unit specific standards. Greets and directs guests on the unit in a manner that reflects a welcoming environment. Performs computer entry, schedules tests/procedures, processes orders, and performs other related activities per unit/hospital standard within a reasonable time frame.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Work Equivalent Required
  • 2 years of relevant experience Preferred
