• Check inventories and place orders as needed.
• Welcome newly admitted patients and orient them.
• Prepare for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Ensure charts are completed and in proper sequence.
• Answer phones and provide information as required.
• Coordinate patient transport to tests and discharges.
