Redlands Community Hospital is seeking a unit clerk to provide clerical support on the unit under supervision. You will transcribe physician orders, schedule tests and therapies, assemble patient charts, and manage calls and messages while maintaining supplies and equipment.

The role requires basic clerical and computer skills, with a preference for hospital experience and familiarity with medical terminology. This is an on-site position located in Redlands, CA, under the Nurse Manager.

Formación

• One year of clerical experience and computer knowledge; background in a hospital setting preferred.
• Completion of a medical terminology course preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Transcribes physicians' orders and schedules diagnostic tests and therapies.
• Assembles and maintains patient charts and responds to telephone/intercom calls.
• Relays messages and ensures supplies and equipment are stocked according to policies.
