Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston, IL is seeking a Per Diem Nursing Unit Coordinator to support non-clinical duties on the nursing unit. Responsibilities include entering charges, coordinating admissions/discharges, ordering supplies, and delivering patient-centered service.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least two years of work experience (or one year of college plus one year of experience) and proficiency with word processing and computers.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and relay messages as appropriate
• Identify need for service recovery and follow up of resolution

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.71 - $28.58 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Hours: Monday-Friday, rotating Day/PM shift, rotating weekends and holidays
