Care New England’s Butler Hospital is seeking a Unit Secretary to perform clerical duties on a nursing or clinical unit. You will follow confidentiality expectations and support staff, patients, and families in a professional, helpful manner.
The role requires experience in clerical work, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to handle stress in a busy hospital environment. On-the-job training in hospital terminology is provided.
The Unit Secretary performs clerical duties on a nursing or clinical unit. They follow confidentiality expectations and facilitate an atmosphere of cooperation by being professional, pleasant, and helpful to the staff, patients, and families. They observe all general hospital and departmental policies, guiding principles, rules and regulations. They attend orientation and complete ongoing in-service education as required.
