You will lead equipment reliability, prioritize maintenance, manage budgets, and partner with Process Reliability to optimize performance while upholding GMP and union requirements.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper, Mechanical, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Model and exemplify leadership behaviours.
• Act quickly on escalations from the 24/7 team; provide updates on issues and projects.
• Integrate with the organization to create a high accountability culture.
• Ensure adherence to stewardship and quality standards.
• Lead equipment reliability and maintenance prioritization.
• Be the owner of unit equipment reliability and strategy.
• Coordinate resources beyond normal workflow to support projects.
• Develop projects and justify expenses and capex to advance unit performance.
• Prioritize and complete risk/compliance tasks in the unit.
• Serve as a key troubleshooter and responder for issues in the plant.
