Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• BSN required upon hire for hires after Nov 1, 2025; ADN hires must enroll in BSN within 6 months and complete by 3rd anniversary.

Responsibilities

• Provides charge nurse responsibilities including assignments and throughput management.
• Manages a patient care assignment per needs.
• Assists with hiring, education and staff performance evaluation.
• Works with Nurse Manager and HR on counseling and discipline.
• Instructs staff to ensure standards through monitoring and performance management.
• Mentors staff for clinical excellence and satisfaction.
• Ensures productivity targets and budget compliance.
• Leads unit performance improvement activities and outcomes.
