Job summary

Lynchburg Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Unit Manager, RN for our 180-bed skilled rehab center in Lynchburg. You will oversee clinical operations of the unit and supervise nurses and CNAs, interfacing with physicians, QA reporting, and providing clinical guidance to staff.

The role requires an active Virginia RN license, 3–5 years in nursing (preferably long-term care) and knowledge of federal and state regulations. Regular weekday hours with some weekend and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 3–5 years RN experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations governing long-term care.
• Nursing management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Lynchburg Health & Rehabilitation Center has an exciting opportunity for a Unit Manager, RN in our 180bed skilled rehab center in Lynchburg.

The Unit Manager will oversee clinical operations of the unit and is responsible for staff supervision of nurses and CNAs, as well as interfacing with physicians, QI reporting and follow-up, and providing clinical expertise to staff as needed. This unit provides care for our most clinically acute patients and residents. Typical hours are Monday through Friday day shift, with some weekend and on-call duties.

Requirements

• Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum three to five years of experience as an RN, preferably in long term care.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long term care.
• Nursing Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
