Ciena Healthcare is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead and supervise nursing staff in a skilled nursing setting. The role emphasizes leadership, teaching, and coordination of care for residents, with strong teamwork and communication across disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have state RN licensure, CPR certification, and experience in geriatric care management, with a focus on quality guest outcomes and education for staff. Competitive benefits are provided.

• Current state RN licensure is required.
• CPR certification and additional certification in a nursing specialty are desired.
• Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises nursing care provided by RN, LPN, CNAs and others.
• Reviews and implements all nursing procedures and systems.
• Assesses and evaluates the systems which facilitate delivery of quality guest care and staff performance.
• Uses a systematic approach in the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care.
• Contributes to guest assessments (MDS/CAA’s) and the development and implementation of a plan of care.
• Evaluates guests’ responses to nursing interventions.
• Understands the rationale for medications and treatments and administers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care provided by Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and others.
• Reviews and implements all nursing procedures and systems.
• Assesses and evaluates the systems which facilitate the delivery of quality guest care and performance of staff.
• Uses a systematic approach in the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care.
• Contributes to the guest assessments (MDS/CAA’s) and the development and implementation of a plan of care.
• Evaluates guests’ responses to nursing interventions.
• Understands the rational for the use of medications and treatments and correctly administers as needed

Qualifications
