NexCare WellBridge Senior Living in Pinckney, MI is seeking an Unit Manager RN to lead the nursing team and coordinate clinical care for a 24-hour operation. The role includes supervising staff, on-call rotation, and ensuring consistent, high-quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of Long Term Care or Supervisory experience.
• Current Michigan RN license and CPR certification.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team, giving direction and assignments, training, and evaluations.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• Instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and serve as a clinical resource.
• Ensure completion of required reports (infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management).
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.

The Unit Manager is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for the coordinating the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center’s 24 hour operation and ensuring consistent and quality care for all residents. You will be empowered to assess the needs and implement care as you deem necessary utilizing the latest in technology and being a part of a strong interdisciplinary team.
You will earn:

• $85,000 - $90,000 per yearbase salary
• Yearly Wage Increases

Shift Schedule:

• 8 hour shifts
• 2nd shift - 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• 5 days per week, will include rotating weekends & some holidays

How you will help people every day:

• You will supervise the nursing team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.
• You will conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• You will instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and function as a resource person for clinical issues
• You will ensure the completion of requested reports, i.e., infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management, etc.

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing, with at least 2 years of Long Term Care or Supervisory experience.
• Current Nursing State of Michigan RN Registered Nurse License; current CPR certification.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
