Job summary

NexCare WellBridge Senior Living in Clarkston, MI is seeking a Unit Manager RN to coordinate clinical care on a unit within our 24-hour operation. You will lead an interdisciplinary team, supervise nursing staff, and ensure high-quality care for residents.

Starting wages are $88,000–$90,000 per year with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Day shift 8:00 AM–4:00 PM; on-call rotation included. Excellent benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan (RN) and CPR-BLS certification.
• Strong analytical ability to develop personalized care plans and solve problems affecting resident well-being.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork to support nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team, assign tasks, train staff and conduct evaluations.
• Perform regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor care quality.
• Instruct the team on skilled care processes and serve as clinical resource.
• Ensure completion of required reports (infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management).
• Promote hospitality and excellent service in daily interactions with residents, families, and visitors.

The Unit Manager is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for the coordinating the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center’s 24-hour operation and ensuring consistent and quality care for all residents. You will be empowered to assess the needs and implement care as you deem necessary utilizing the latest in technology and being a part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

How you will help people every day:

• You will supervise the nursing team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.
• You will conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• You will instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and function as a resource person for clinical issues
• You will ensure the completion of requested reports, i.e., infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management, etc.

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing, with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan - (RN) License; current CPR-BLS certification.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
