Saginaw Senior Care & Rehab in Saginaw, MI is seeking a Unit Manager RN to oversee a nursing unit within a 24-hour operation, ensuring consistent, quality clinical care and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. You will lead rounds, guide staff, and coordinate resident care plans while maintaining adherence to infection control and quality standards.

Michigan RN license and CPR are required, with 2+ years of management experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an active RN license in Michigan.
• Current CPR certification and strong clinical oversight capabilities.
• Minimum 2 years of related nursing leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned unit within the center’s 24-hour operation and ensure high-quality clinical care.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• Instruct the team on skilled care processes and serve as clinical resource.
• Ensure completion of required reports (infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management).
• Supervise nursing staff, provide direction and training, and participate in evaluations.

This position is responsible for the oversight of an assigned unit within the center’s 24-hour operation and ensuring consistent and quality clinical care for all residents. What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing, with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current RN State of Michigan License; current CPR certification.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare resident care plans, implement effective nursing care, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning residents' mental and physical well-being.
• Good leadership skills.
