Job summary

Blueberry Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center seeks a Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit and ensure high-quality, person-centered resident care. The role is full-time, days, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a compensation range of $79,000 to $114,400 annually.

The position emphasizes clinical leadership, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support safe, effective care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active license to practice as an LPN or RN in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center or hospital.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible functioning.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting with follow-up to the Administrator and DON.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the DON.
• Assist in development, implementation and evaluation of policies and procedures.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for resident-centered care and continuous improvement.
