Job summary

Blueberry Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Beverly, MA, is seeking a Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit and ensure high-quality, resident-centered care. This full-time role runs weekdays, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current MA nursing license (RN or LPN) in good standing.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience in a nursing setting.
• Active BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure incident reporting with follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.
