Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in managing nursing operations, including setting priorities and assigning tasks.
  • Monitor unit activities, communicate policies, evaluate performance, and provide feedback, coaching, and discipline as needed.
  • Develop positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and the medical team.
  • Conduct regular rounds to ensure quality of care, cleanliness, staff morale, and residents' needs are met proactively.
  • Manage administrative functions related to Nursing Services.
Minimum Requirements
  • COVID Vaccination Required
  • Valid, unencumbered RN State License; nursing degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • At least three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in hospitals, nursing centers, or related healthcare settings.
  • Experience in supervision, teaching, and rehabilitative nursing practices strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal tactfully with all stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing care facilities.
