Job summary

Gulf Coast Village Skilled Nursing in Cape Coral, FL is seeking a full-time Unit Manager (RN / LPN) to lead the nursing station, coordinate care, and ensure quality, compliant services 24/7. This role offers hourly pay with benefits and opportunities for career growth within VOANS’ care community.

You will supervise nursing staff, monitor medication passes, and participate in policy development, with a focus on compassionate, purpose-driven care for residents.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the state of employment as an LPN or RN.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with prior long-term care experience.
• Must possess effective management and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees the nursing staff to ensure procedures follow current policies and VOANS core systems.
• Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure orders are followed.
• Perform direct care related activities as needed.
• Participates in development of resident care policies and procedures.
• Perform daily rounds of the nursing unit and conduct QAPI rounds.

Pay Range:

• RN: $37.98 – $40.38 per hour
  LPN: $30 - $34 per hour

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week

The Unit Manager is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the assigned nursing station(s), coordination, planning implementing, and evaluating the nursing services provided to each resident on a 24-hour basis.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Current licensure in the state of employment as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with previous long-term care experience.
• Must possess effective management and supervisory skills.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Directs and oversees the nursing staff to ensure the nursing procedures are followed and reflect the current policies and procedures of the facility. Follows VOANS core clinical systems.
• Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to assure that medications and treatments are being administered as ordered.
• Perform direct care related activities as the need arises.
• Participates in the development of policies and procedures pertaining to resident care.
• Perform daily rounds of the nursing unit to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards. Perform QAPI rounds.
