Gulf Coast Village Skilled Nursing in Cape Coral, FL is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for full-time day shift (7am-7pm). Join VOANS and care for residents in a welcoming, home-like setting with opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Assists with daily living activities as prescribed by the care plan.
• Performs nursing assessments under supervision and documents findings.
• Supports residents in a safe, clean environment.
• Administers basic nursing tasks and monitors patient status.
• Reports changes to the care team and updates the plan of care as needed.
• Maintains patient privacy and respects dignity.
• Assists with mobility, hygiene, and nourishment needs.

Full-Time, Days (7am-7pm) Every Other Weekend Required

Hourly Rate

$16.75 - $18.05 per hour

What You Bring (Requirements)

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• State approved nursing assistant course completion/certification, or enrollment in approved course per state guidelines.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for the practice of professional nursing in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and standards for home health nursing.
• Performs comprehensive assessments of client status, including physical, psychological, and environmental parameters.
• Develops and/or follows an individualized Plan of Care that incorporates analysis of data and current scientific findings.
• Provides skilled interventions aimed at achieving realistic client outcomes within a specified time period.
• Reports changes and information necessary to modify and update the care plan to reflect progress towards goals (outcomes).
• Consistently demonstrates competency with technical nursing skills according to personal and legal scope of practice.
• Assessment skills as applied to the client, family/support system, and environment.
• Teaching skills according to the client’s needs and within the context of the client’s environment, value system, and physical/emotional status.
