We rely on and trust our Unit Manager (RN) to provide independent supervision of the delivery of care to a group of residents in a nursing unit. Responsibilities include assessing resident needs, developing individual care plans, administering nursing care, and evaluating nursing care. The role also involves supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Care Specialists (CNA), and other personnel, including possibly other RNs.

• Implement care plans efficiently, focusing on resident-centered outcomes, utilizing all available resources for counseling and discharge planning, and collaborating with healthcare professionals
• Maintain resident comfort and care by applying current nursing practices and skills

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as an RN in the practicing state
• Current CPR certification; required within 90 days of hire for licensed staff
• Recent clinical experience or education specific to geriatrics
• Ability to maintain regular attendance
