Genesis Administrative Services LLC seeks a Unit Manager/Director - RN to support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care at an assigned unit in West Virginia. The role emphasizes achieving positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction among patients, residents, families and staff.

You will lead nursing operations, ensure compliance with standards and collaborate with physicians and therapies to optimize outcomes while managing staffing and performance.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
• Ensure that patient/resident care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values and company policies in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on assigned nursing unit.
• Manage the human resources in assigned unit to include limiting use of overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orientating staff, assessing the work performance of nursing staff, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.
