Role Overview:

The Unit Manager - RN oversees nursing operations in a care facility, ensuring high-quality resident care and compliance with policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage admissions, assess resident needs, and develop/update care plans.
• Report to and collaborate with physicians, delegate tasks to staff, and supervise daily nursing activities.
• Ensure medication administration, treatments, and documentation are completed accurately.
• Monitor skin conditions, perform CPR if needed, and maintain infection control protocols.
• Supervise, train, evaluate, and discipline resident care staff, promoting professional standards.
• Coordinate resident services with healthcare professionals and communicate regularly with families.
• Oversee medication management, equipment use, and supply inventory.
• Participate in staff training, orientation, and performance evaluations.
• Handle emergency procedures, on-call duties, and respond to resident or staff needs as required.

Qualifications & Skills
