Genesis HealthCare in the United States is seeking a Nursing Unit Leader to oversee nursing and patient care on a dedicated unit. You will guide clinical operations, ensure quality care in compliance with standards, and work with physicians and rehab staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
• Ensure that patient/resident care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values and company policies in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on assigned nursing unit.
• Manage the human resources in assigned unit to include limiting use of overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orientating staff, assessing the work performance of nursing staff, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.

Posted Salary Range
