Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing as a Unit Manager/Director - RN within an assigned unit, ensuring high-quality care, positive clinical outcomes, and satisfaction among patients/residents, families, and staff.
• Lead, guide, and coordinate the operations and care delivery of the nursing unit.
• Ensure care delivery aligns with Genesis HealthCare's mission, vision, values, policies, and complies with all regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapists, and other professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Manage human resources in the unit, including staffing, recruitment, orientation, performance assessment, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school, college, or university.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
