The Laurels of Bedford seeks an RN Unit Manager to lead and educate a skilled nursing team in a resident-centered care environment. You will coordinate nursing care, supervise RNs, LPNs and CNAs, and ensure adherence to procedures and care plans, while guiding MDS/CAA assessments and care planning.

The role emphasizes strong clinical leadership, teaching, and collaboration in a facility that values compassionate care and staff development.

Formación

• Current RN license required.
• CPR certification required; additional nursing specialty certification desired.
• Management or supervisory experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise nursing care provided by RN, LPN, CNA and others.
• Review and implement nursing procedures and systems.
• Assess and evaluate systems enabling quality guest care and staff performance.
• Apply a systematic nursing process to provide individualized care.
• Contribute to guest assessments (MDS/CAA) and develop a plan of care.
• Evaluate residents’ responses to nursing interventions.
• Understand medications and treatments and administer as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care provided by Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and others.
• Reviews and implements all nursing procedures and systems.
• Assesses and evaluates the systems which facilitate the delivery of quality guest care and performance of staff.
• Uses a systematic approach in the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care.
• Contributes to the guest assessments (MDS/CAA’s) and the development and implementation of a plan of care.
• Evaluates guests’ responses to nursing interventions.
• Understands the rational for the use of medications and treatments and correctly administers as needed.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification and additional certification in a nursing specialty desired.
• Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
