Job summary

WellBridge of Clarkston is seeking an experienced Unit Manager - Registered Nurse RN to oversee a nursing unit within our 24-hour operation. The role emphasizes coordination of clinical care across the unit, leveraging the latest technology and a strong interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality resident care.

You will supervise the nursing team, conduct rounds, and ensure reporting and compliance tasks are completed while promoting a welcoming, healing environment for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan (RN); CPR-BLS certification.
• Strong analytical abilities to personalize care plans and address problems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team, provide direction and assignments.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• Instruct the team on skilled care processes and act as clinical resource.
• Ensure completion of reports (infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management).
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests and families.

The Unit Manager is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for the coordinating the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center’s 24-hour operation and ensuring consistent and quality care for all residents. You will be empowered to assess the needs and implement care as you deem necessary utilizing the latest in technology and being a part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

You will earn:

• Starting wages - $88,000 - $90,000 per year
• PLUS $10,000 Sign On Bonus!
• Day Shift - 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• On-call responsibilities included as part of a rotation

How you will help people every day:

• You will supervise the nursing team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.
• You will conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• You will instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and function as a resource person for clinical issues
• You will ensure the completion of requested reports, i.e., infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management, etc.

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing, with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan - (RN) License; current CPR-BLS certification.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
