Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.
• Minimum (3) years nursing experience preferred in settings serving the same age/type of resident population; minimum one (1) year experience in nursing administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing and supervise nursing staff providing direct resident care to ensure quality care on the assigned unit.
• Assist in staff development and supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants.
• Provide direct resident care in accordance with established plans.
• Conduct and document complete data collection of each resident’s medical status upon admission and during care.
• Assist in development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for each resident.
• Monitor compliance with resident record documentation requirements, as directed.
• Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and work with families and other staff to resolve grievances.
