Tarboro Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Unit Manager Nurse to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. An unrestricted RN or LPN license is required, with a passion for compassionate resident care.

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, you will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, educate residents, and supervise staff on the unit to ensure high-quality care and safety.

Formación

• Unrestricted RN or LPN license required.
• Experience supervising nursing assistants or care staff preferred.
• Ability to coordinate nursing care across residents and shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate nursing care on the unit ensuring staff capabilities.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments and communicate changes to physicians.
• Develop and implement plans of care based on assessments.
• Institute nursing interventions to stabilize conditions and prevent complications.
• Contribute to resident assessments and care plan development.

Tarboro Health & Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Unit Manager Nurse to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. Applicant must have an unrestricted Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license. Hours are from 9am-5pm Monday through Friday.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Unit Manager Nurse will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.

These positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner. Some responsibilities may include:

• Supervise the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants and other staff.
• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff are capable of providing appropriate care to them.
• Provide safe and accurate medication related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents. Notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement and document new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions that might be required to stabilize a resident's condition and /or prevent complications.
• Contribute to the resident’s assessment and the development of a care plan.
