Job summary

Deer Park Health & Rehab in Nebo, NC is hiring a Unit Manager (LPN or RN) to lead day-to-day nursing on the unit. This is a Monday through Friday position with a rotating on-call schedule shared across the leadership team.

You will oversee daily nursing operations, supervise nurses and CNAs, ensure care plans are current, and coordinate with physicians, therapy, and families. A calm, hands-on leader with NC licensure is essential.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN or RN license in North Carolina.
• LTC or SNF experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations and resident care on your unit.
• Supervise, coach, and support nurses and CNAs.
• Ensure care plans are current, accurate, and followed.
• Monitor resident condition and coordinate with physicians, therapy, and families.
• Review documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Help with staffing, scheduling, and new staff training.
• Participate in QA, survey readiness, and rotating on-call coverage.
