Job summary

LDRM, a joint venture of Lockwood Hills Federal, is seeking an experienced Unit Manager to lead and develop a supervisory team. You will hire, coach, and deliver timely performance data to the U.S. State Department from an on-site office near Portsmouth, NH.

You will oversee staffing, drive process improvements, participate in calls with overseas posts, and brief visitors as needed. A Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; or four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
• Two (2) years of progressive management experience.
• Four (4) years of analytical or information processing experience managing teams of analysts.
• Strong verbal and written command of the English language.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and advanced Excel knowledge.
• Experience with NICE Contact Center Interaction Recording Software preferred.
• Ability to interact with people at all levels and work independently or collaboratively.
• Must pass credit and criminal background check and obtain Secret-level federal clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

• Hire and manage a technically proficient and professionally capable staff throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Provide timely deliverables and performance data to the customer for oversight and performance measurement.
• Suggest process improvements to improve service delivery and performance.
• Promote innovation, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Resolve problems with minimal disruption to contract activities.
• Participate in conference calls and digital video conferences with overseas posts and agencies; brief visitors when required.
• May perform other duties to advance the business unit's mission.

Job description

As a Unit Manager at the National Visa Center, you will supervise, coach and develop your team. You'll conduct interviews and make hiring decisions. You may be required to give briefings to visitors and participate in conference calls. Of critical importance is that you provide timely deliverables and performance-related data to the U.S. State Department.
