Job summary

Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking a motivated Food Service Director to lead the Oakwood University dining team. You will oversee all operations of the food service department, ensuring meals are served efficiently and to the highest standards while coordinating with campus partners.

Responsibilities include hiring and training staff, managing budgets, ensuring safety and sanitation compliance, and communicating with hourly staff and executives.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Previous experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication skills with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a client-focused approach.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add a motivated, effective food service director to our Elior Collegiate Dining team. As a food service director, you will have the opportunity to lead a talented team of food service workers and manage all aspects of a food service department to ensure that customers and clients never miss a meal.

What you'll be doing:

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Previous experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication skills and experience communicating with both hourly staff and company executives.
• The ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer services and satisfaction.
• Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications.
