Job summary

Thomas Cuisine is hiring a Unit Host Float in Corvallis, OR to assemble and deliver patient trays in the hospital, and to support meal service across shifts. You will move carts, communicate with cooks and unit hosts, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires ServSafe certification and a State Food Handlers Card, ability to pass a background check and drug screen, and legal work authorization in the United States. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and drug screen required.
• Ability to provide documents for work authorization; E-Verify in use.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver patient trays in the hospital.
• Bend, stand, lift, and push/pull carts as needed.
• Communicate with cooks and unit hosts to support meal service.
• Maintain a clean and safe work space.

Compensation: $17-$19 per hour| Full-Time

Schedule: Float Sunday-Thursday, 30-40 hours, 12 hours shifts and 6 hour shifts available

Job Specific Duties

• Assembling and delivering patient trays in the hospital.
• Bending, standing, lifting, walking, pushing and/or pulling carts.
• Communication with both cooks and other unit hosts in regards to meal service and needs.
• Maintaining a clean work space.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

• ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handlers Card
• Successful candidates must meet eligibility criteria, including the ability to undergo and successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen in accordance with applicable State laws and regulations.
• Ability to provide documents for work authorization. We utilize E-Verify, an online system that allows us to confirm the eligibility of our employees to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma/GED
