Job summary

Compass Group USA’s SSC Services for Education is seeking a UNIT DIRECTOR for Arizona State University in Tempe. The role provides primary support to ensure optimal workflow and exceptional service across the facility.

You will lead a team, drive safety and sanitation programs, and strengthen client relations while managing costs. This position demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to quality in a university setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent and relevant experience.
• 1-3 years of experience, preferred.
• Strong work ethic, initiative for quality and customer service.
• Excellent stress management and organizational skills; follow-through with associates and clients.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for all staff.
• Directs safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs; maintains client relations.
• Assists to ensure client and customer satisfaction and cost-effective management.
• Promotes professional growth and development of associates.
• Coordinates tasks of Supervisory and Management team via regular communication.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
