Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred; RN license required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• 18 months of acute care RN experience required.
• Post-surgical area experience preferred.
• Same Day surgery experience preferred.

One of the best staffed Medical/Surgical units in the state!Cornell 3 is a 24-bed medical-surgical unit focused on gastrointestinal care, addressing conditions like gallbladder diseases, appendicitis, bowel obstructions, and procedures such as colon resections and ostomy creation. The unit also cares for patients with sepsis, respiratory issues, and diabetes complications, maintaining a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 for personalized care. It is an ideal environment for both experienced nurses and new graduates seeking skill development.
