Nationwide-Children in Columbus, OH seeks a Unit Coordinator for evening shift 3:00 PM–11:30 PM (0.8 FTE, 32 hours/week). Starting pay is $19.10 per hour, with differential for evenings and weekends.

Under RN supervision, you will perform secretarial and environmental tasks using current technology. Responsibilities include maintaining patient charts, operating phone and paging systems, greeting and coordinating admissions and transfers, managing supplies, and supporting training of other staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification (BLS) required.
• Experience with basic computer systems and hospital technology preferred.

Responsabilités

• Monitors and maintains patient charts and medical records.
• Operates telephone, paging, pneumatic tube, and other communication devices.
• Assists with greeting, admission, registration, transfer, transport, and discharge.
• Maintains unit and office supplies and stocking.
• Acts as a preceptor for orientation and training of staff.
• Coordinates transport of medications between Pharmacy and practitioners.
• Initiates Code Blue/Medical Assist/ACT in emergencies and informs staff.
