Arnot Health is seeking a Unit Coordinator for the NICU at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. The role coordinates unit activities and liaises with the Director to ensure efficient operations, supplies, and patient care charges.

The position requires a high school diploma; preferred AAS in Secretarial Science and Medical Terminology experience. Basic accounting skills are desirable; benefit offerings and schedule reflect a part-time, 20-hours-per-week role at the NICU.

Responsabilidades

• Develops appropriate par levels of supplies and special order items with staff to maintain unit efficiency.
• Initiates charges for new patient care items and procedures; coordinates with finance.
• Develops charges in collaboration with the finance department and monitors accuracy of patient charges.
• Researches suppliers and vendors to maintain quality and negotiate prices for cost effectiveness.
• Coordinates and maintains an accurate record of purchasing for the unit.
• Coordinates repairs and replacements with manufacturers, vendor representatives, clinical engineering and facilities engineering.
• Arranges in-service training for new procedures and equipment with unit director and nurse specialists.
• Coordinates room availability for meetings and in-services for the unit.
