• Researches suppliers and vendors as indicated to maintain quality of care while negotiating prices to ensure cost effectiveness.
• Coordinates and maintains an accurate record of purchasing for the unit.
• Coordinates repairs and replacement needs for the unit with manufacturers, vendor representatives, clinical engineering and facility engineering.
• Arranges for in servicing for new procedures and equipment in collaboration with unit director/staff development coordinator/clinical nurse specialist.
• Coordinates room availability for meeting and in-services for the unit.

Job Summary
