Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; one year experience with psychiatric patient population preferred.
• Previous secretarial experience is preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures adequate staffing on unit to meet patient demand and adjusts accordingly as needed.
• Manages nursing payroll and completes in a timely manner.
• Assists CNO and Nurse Managers with administrative and clerical tasks as assigned.
• Manages PRN pool effectively and audits compliance with program.
• Advises CNO, Nurse Managers and House Supervisor of pending staffing issues and proactively resolves them.
